Shift Leader Bartender Job Description

The Shift Leader Bartender will ensure an excellent guest experience by motivating and leading a team of hospitable and knowledgeable bartenders, servers, and support staff members. Providing the best possible guest experience begins by leading and motivating an excellent taproom staff. Elevating the standards for taproom service, beverage knowledge, and floor sales is a key function of the Shift Leader Bartender role. The Shift Leader Bartender will work directly with the General Manager to design and execute excellent taproom experiences for our guests every single day.

The Shift Leader Bartender must have strong organizational and administrative skills. Another major function of this position is ensuring that systems are implemented by staff. Support Job Description

This position requires individuals to be capable of completing various tasks in a timely manner while maintaining attention to detail with little direction. Core responsibilities of the Support position includes but is not limited to; running drink and food orders, bussing and pre-bussing tables, refilling waters, sweeping, organizing the beer cooler, fulfilling online orders, polishing silverware and glassware, welcoming guests, and doing whatever is necessary to maintain the flow of service.

The Support is primarily responsible for delivering food orders from the kitchen to customers’ tables rapidly and accurately. The Support is expected to listen to learn where the food needs to go and will also communicate with the customers whether it’s checking on their satisfaction or taking an impromptu request. The Support will also be responsible for the initial expediting of carryout and catering orders.

The Support is also responsible for welcoming customers to Silver Branch and ensuring that they are seated and receive attentive service. Their duties include passing out menus to patrons not using the QR code for ordering and accepting phone calls. The Support will clear tables, organize silverware, assess if menus are reusable and toss menus that are dirty, ripped, inaccurate, etc.

The Support may be scheduled as barback and will help clear dishes of food and stack them neatly in bus tub, run glassware through dishwasher, polish glassware and put glassware away. As barback, when dishes are done, expectations are to jump into other support roles as needed.

As Kitchen Supervisor at Silver Branch, you will have a variety of responsibilities in different facets of kitchen operations, menu execution, and product management. You will contribute to delivering world-class cuisine to our guests and make Silver Branch a premier brewery and taproom in the DMV and beyond. Ensuring timely delivery of food to our guests, training kitchen staff, and overseeing the total quality of food coming out of our kitchen, is key to being successful as the Kitchen Supervisor.
