When we founded Silver Branch Brewing Company, Christian and I envisioned more than just a brewery—we imagined a vibrant community hub where people could come together over a shared love of great beer and experience gemütlichkeit. From day one, our mission has been to create connections, celebrate diversity, and brew exceptional beers inspired by global brewing traditions.
With two locations and the imminent expansion of our third location just around the corner, I can say the last couple of years have been a wild ride. Despite the trials and tribulations, running Silver Branch has been rewarding in more ways than I can meaningfully explain with words. We’re nearing the end of our first phase of crowdfunding and we just recently cleared the $100,000 milestone. As we look to the future and contemplate all the possibilities, I find myself in a rare moment where I’m able to reflect on what this raise has really meant to us so far.
Why Crowdfunding?

In fact, many of our original Founders Club and Explorers Club members have now become investors and will have the opportunity to share in our financial success. One of the most exciting developments we’re working on is the creation of Mosaic Pizza, our very own artisan pizza brand. We envision Mosaic Pizza as a culinary complement to our diverse beer offerings, creating a harmonious blend of flavors that celebrates both craft brewing and seriously delicious pizza.

- Launch Mosaic Pizza: Your support will fund the establishment of Mosaic Pizza within our brewery, including the acquisition of state-of-the-art pizza ovens and the development of a really slick e-commerce platform. This will allow us to bring beer AND pizza delivery to Maryland. We’ve been able to test this concept in our Warrenton, Virginia location and the results have been amazing so far!
- Enhance Our Facilities: We’re redesigning our taproom space in Silver Spring to seamlessly integrate the pizza kitchen. This will further improve upon our inviting atmosphere and it will be nice to spend time whether you’re waiting to bring that pizza home and enjoying beer or hanging with some friends at your favorite gathering spot.
Expand Our Culinary Team: We’ve had the excellent fortune of welcoming Devin Bozkaya as our Food & Beverage Director to the Executive Management Team within the last year. His passion for creativity combined with his commitment to quality will help us ensure that every pizza is a work of art.

- Significantly Increased Production Capacity: The Rockville brewery will dramatically boost our brewing capacity, allowing us to meet the growing demand for our beers throughout Maryland, DC, Virginia, and beyond. With a larger brewhouse and more fermentation space, we’ll be able to produce a wider variety of beers on a much larger scale.
- State-of-the-Art Equipment: We’re investing in a larger brewhouse with better technology that will enhance the quality and consistency of our beers. This includes a high-efficiency brewhouse and a canning line that will streamline our packaging process. All of which can be operated simultaneously, a current limitation of our Silver Spring location.
- Dedicated Spaces for Innovation: The new facility will give us the fermentation capacity to continue improving on our lagers and developing new, never-before-seen beers by Silver Branch. This gives our brewing team the creative freedom to explore new opportunities.
- Enhanced Community Experience: The Rockville location isn’t just about production; it’s designed to be a destination for beer lovers and their friends. We’ll have a spacious taproom with cocktails and wine, an outdoor biergarten, and some other fun secrets that we’re not ready to share just yet. It’s a place where the community can gather, celebrate, and make lasting memories.
- Job Creation and Economic Growth: Expanding into Rockville allows us to create new jobs across various departments—from brewing and operations to hospitality and sales. We’re proud to contribute to the local economy and support the community that has supported us.
